04/02, 20:15: Organ solo: Anton Bruckner

Erwin Horn arranges Anton Bruckner's symphonies for organ for organist Hansjörg Albrecht. Today you will hear the Scherzo from the Third Symphony on the Verschueren organ and the Seventh Symphony on the Sauer and Utopa baroque organs.

 

05/02, 14:15: Organ and Soprano: Hendrik Andriessen

Songs by Alphons Diepenbrock (1862-1921) and Hendrik Andriessen (1892-1981) for soprano and organ.

 

11/02, 20:15: New music for The Busy Drone

Composition students from the Royal Conservatory of The Hague wrote new works for barrel organ under the direction of Trevor Grahl.

 

12/02, 14:15: Vocal Ensemble Musa with Peter Dijkstra

Vocal ensemble MUSA takes a journey through five centuries of choral music from Slovenia and Italy. From the sacred music of the Slovenian monk Jacobus Handl and Giovanni Palestrina to new notes by Nana Forte and Giuseppe di Bianco. Central is the Requiem by the Italian composer Ildebrando Pizzetti, which was composed exactly 100 years ago. With 'In Pace', MUSA and conductor Peter Dijkstra pay tribute to the musical inspiration that transcends centuries and national borders.

 

18/02, 20:15: Film concert: Metropolis

Van Schoonhoven built a reputation for supervising silent film. Tonight you will hear and see the classic Metropolis (1927) by Frits Lang.

 

19/02, 14:15: Organ and Horn Ensemble Capricorno

Horn player and teacher Herman Jeurissen put together a critical hunting program entitled 'the damned hunter', after 'le chasseur maudit' by César Franck. With arrangements for horn ensemble and organ of works by Wagner, Von Weber, Handel and Franck.

 

25/02, 20:15: Ensemble & Organ: Ensemble 88 with Exodus

The Exodus program refers to flight, homeland, danger, sacrifice, war. Ensemble 88 presents a very eclectic programme, in which powerful works in combination with organ alternate with modest, almost subtle compositions.

 

27/02, 20:15: Vocal: Masters & Apprentices with Daniel Reuss

The 2023 edition of Meesters en Gezellen is entitled Wendingen. Choir singers, at the start of their career, are coached by members of Cappella conducted by Daniel Reuss in a program with works by Vasks, Karimova, Clara Schumann and Fanny Mendelssohn, among others.
