Sweelinck Mullerprijs

The Orgelpark welcomes the candidates for the first round of the J.P. Sweelinck Prize. The prize supports young talent that can give an innovative impulse to organ culture. Prize winners are expected to show themselves to be ambassadors for the organ. The first round consists of a discussion with members of a jury, followed in the evening by the presentation and performance of a program chosen by the candidate. On May 17, the candidate will be selected who will be offered a coaching trajectory to organize an 'Organ Weekend' in 2026. The J.P. Sweelinck Prize will be awarded during this weekend.

The candidates are Francesca Ajossa, Poppeia Berden and Henrike van Tuijl.

The jury members are Anneke Hogenstijn (former director of Programming Concertgebouw Amsterdam), Pieter-Jelle de Boer (chief conductor Orchestre des Pas de Savoie (F) and concert organist) and Oene van Geel (improvising (viola) violinist and composer). The non-voting chairman of the jury is Peter Ouwerkerk (board member of the Jan Pieterszoon Sweelinck Prize Foundation).
