Harmoniumdag

Today is all about Orgelpark's Mustel harmonium. After the renovation, that lasted six months, the harmonium finally will be heard again in its usual habitat. In addition to the music, the programm includes presentations and discussions about the harmonium and its history.

In addition to the music by Dirk Luijmes and Bart Rodyns, the program includes an interview with restorer Louis Huivenaar, who restored the Orgelpark's Mustel harmonium to its original condition, and a lecture on the background of harmoniums like this one, as well as that of harmoniums downstairs in the foyer—a Mason & Hamlin from 1864, owned by Cees Bunt.
