Hayo Boerema - Messiaens La Nativité

Organist Hayo Boerema brings the Orgelpark season to a close with a performance of Messiaen’s La Nativité du Seigneur. Since 2005, Boerema has been the titular organist at St. Lawrence’s Church in Rotterdam, where he plays the largest organ in the Netherlands.

Hayo obtained his Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in organ at the Royal Conservatoire of The Hague and studied choral conducting at the Rotterdam Conservatoire. He subsequently specialised in improvisation and devoted himself to the French symphonic organ repertoire. Since 2025, he has been working as a principal lecturer in organ at the Royal Conservatoire of The Hague.
