Jakob Lkk Met Cormorant 2775

Improviser and composer Jakob Lkk presents Cormorant 2775, a composition inspired by a cormorant drying its wings on the stationary blade of a submerged windmill in the year 2775. While fishing, it hears underwater sounds it can't identify: rustling pipes and singing bells. Cormorant 2775 also marks the premiere of a new synthesizer sample set based on the overtones of Amsterdam church bells.
