Kit Downes Met Southern Bodies

Kit Downes returns to Orgelpark! This performance is a collection of works from Downes - a mixture of material from his upcoming album 'Southern Bodies' on ECM Records, and new works composed specifically for these performers.

There are several long standing musical relationships inside this large ensemble, both with Downes and amongst one another. The performance will be a vivid and detailed collection of music, exploring themes ranging from transience, sleep, and the human body - all through the prism of the myriad of soundworlds offered by the multiple organs at the Orgelpark, plus some extra ones brought from across Europe.
