Passio In Miniatura

PASSION IN MINIATURE

A concert for Passiontide

In this intimate Passion performance, two portable harmoniums – small, collapsible organs from around 1900 – accompany two singers. They create an intimate soundscape centred on Bach's arrangement of Pergolesi's famous Stabat Mater (BWV 1083), supplemented with parts from Bach's Orchestral Suites.

Performers

Johannette Zomer, soprano

Cécile van de Sant, mezzo soprano

Euwe de Jong, organ and harmonium

Sybolt de Jong, organ and harmonium

Programm

Johann Sebastian Bach (1685-1750)

- Cantate 'Tilget, Höchtster' (BWV 1083)

- Movements from the Orchestral suites, arranged for quatre main organ
