Planetenfestival - Secret Compartment

An intimate musical experience with toy piano and cello. This programm is based on Wilma Pistorius’ Secret Compartment (2022) – an interactive and semi-theatrical work for toy piano and music box. The musical material of Secret Compartment is inspired by various astronomical objects cataloged by Charles Messier. The connection with the (starry) sky continues with Takemitsu's Orion and selections from John Cage's Etudes Boreales.
