Tabularum Sonorum Organum

Tabula Sonorum is a duo consisting of Dutch pianist and composer Bart van Dongen and Portuguese double bassist Gonçalo Almeida. Together they explore the world of improvised music, blending minimalist influences with bold sonic experiments.

For this concert, they present Tabula Sonorum Organum, a unique variation in which the piano is replaced by a church organ. The deep resonance of the double bass meets the majestic timbre of the organ, resulting in a powerful, meditative, and immersive musical experience—a sonic journey that is both dramatic and spiritual.
