The Sweelinck oeuvreprijs for the Orgelpark!

The Orgelpark received the Sweelinck oeuvre prize in 2020 from the Stichting Jan Pieterszoon Sweelinckprijs. Because of the corona measures, it was not possible to hold a ceremony until 2021. On Thursday September 9, the chairman of the foundation, Rein van der Kluit, presented this prize to Loek Dijkman, founder of the Orgelpark. The Orgelpark has been awarded the oeuvre prize because of its unique design and the special organs that are present there.

In addition to the oeuvre prize, the foundation also awards the Sweelinck Muller prize to individuals who have made a special contribution to organ culture. Jacob Lekkerkerker and Laurens de Man won this prize in 2009 and 2018. These winners made the evening extra festive with a concert.
