The final event of the Orgelpark's three-day artistic research symposium on Situational Musicking is a concert by Kara-Lis Coverdale. Last week she already performed at the Orgelpark, tonight she proceeds exploring the countless sonic affordances of the Orgelpark. Earlier today, she also contributes to the symposium with a musical lecture on her positions towards musicking; that event starts at 14.15 and is free.
Kara-Lis Coverdale is, as The Guardian wrote, 'steadfastly committed to developing and expanding her vivid understanding of music as an immersive, tunable, and listening world rich in emotion and sensitivity, she is heralded as “one of the most exciting composers in North America".'
